Checklist and troubleshooting
Checklist for your 3D design
- The units are mm.
- The holes are Hole shapes and the model is grouped (Group).
- The walls are at least 1.2 mm thick.
- There is 0.3 to 0.5 mm clearance where parts fit together.
- There are no floating parts.
- The text is bold.

Troubleshooting
The hole did not cut
The shape is not set to Hole, or you have not clicked Group yet.
The floor disappeared
The hole starts at height 0. Raise the hole so a floor stays.
The text is too thin
Use a bold font and a larger size.
The model looks too small or too big
Check the units. Are they set to millimetres?
Next step
Export your model as STL (Export, then STL) and ask your instructor about printing. Real batteries and tubes vary a little in size, so print a small test piece first if you print later.
